Sh’Ronda LeWarren Bolden

Sh’Ronda LeWarren Bolden, 44, of Gonzales, went to her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 1, 2021. Sh’Ronda was born May 28, 1976 in Gonzales to Lloyd Leslie Bolden, Sr., and Carolyn Maxine Jackson Bolden. She was a member of The Rock Apostolic Five-Fold Ministry Church.

Sh’Ronda was born and raised in Gonzales and was one of seven children. She graduated from Gonzales High School with the Class of 1995 and went on to receive an Associate’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree. She worked as the Sprout Coordinator for the Thrive Healthplex and as a receptionist.

Sh’Ronda was a quick-witted, master prankster who kept her mother, father, and siblings on edge, wary of her fun-loving pranks.

Her family is very loving, compassionate, and spontaneous. She loved everyone and would frequently attach herself to troubled or broken people to help them in any way she could. Whether it was listening to their worries and helping them work things out, just being a friend or lifting their hearts with her beautiful singing voice, Sh’Ronda was graciously unselfish with her gifts of loving.

John 13:34 offers a quote from Jesus, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” Surely Sh’Ronda walked in the word of God, certainly she lived an example of her faith for the love of God and as an example for her beloved children to follow.

Mahatma Gandhi said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Sh’Ronda lived every day to make the world a better place for all, but most of all for her children, Skylynn and Tommy, whom she loved beyond measure. She will be desperately missed.

Sh’Ronda L. Bolden is survived by her adoring family, daughter: Skylynn Celeste` Barnes; son: Tommy McNeil Barnes, Jr.; mother: Pastor Carolyn M. Bolden; father: Elder Lloyd L. Bolden – all of Gonzales; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tangela and Victor Young of Chicago, IL, Tasha and Calvin Allen of Gonzales, Tiffany and Henry Bruster of Zachary, LA, Deidra Matehuala of High Pony, N.C.; brothers: Lloyd Bolden, Jr. of Gonzales, and Keith Bolden, Sr. and wife, Marisol, of Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with funeral services following at 10 a.m. in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Pastor C.A. Roaches officiating. Interment will follow in Gonzales City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Rock Church, P.O. Box 101, Gonzales, Texas 78629.
