Smiley meeting focuses on budget, tax rate

The Smiley City Council will consider setting its proposed tax rate and adopting its 2021-22 budget during a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Smiley Community Center, 207 Steele St., Smiley.
The proposed total tax rate is 31.31 cents per $100 valuation.
