The royal court is in session

Applications for Miss Gonzales accepted through Aug. 22

The Miss Gonzales County Royal Court Scholarship Pageant applications are now available.

The selected queen, and her court will attend numerous parades during the year, as ambassadors of the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce and Gonzales County. To be eligible candidates must live in Gonzales County.

Applications may be picked up at 304 Saint Louis in the Chamber of Commerce building with online applications also available at https://www.gonzalestexas.com. Those interested in running for Miss Gonzales County must first receive parental approval.

After parental approval is received, a candidate profile forms will be completed by the applicant and returned to the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce no later than August 22 at the mandatory meeting at 5:30PM. The Chamber will not be accepting any applications after Monday, August 22.

Entry fees are $50 for each applicant.

Being a part of this official royal court is a big responsibility but is also a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity and experience.

Winners will travel to many places and meet a lot of interesting people, all while having fun and representing Gonzales, Texas.

Winners are chosen through a voting process that takes place the Saturday prior to Come and Take it Celebrations, with the winners scheduled to be announced on Saturday afternoon, October 1, during the celebration, itself.
