Valente Vargas

Posted

Valente Vargas of Waelder, Texas took his last breath at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, with family at his side on Jan. 15, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born on June 27, 1968 in Gonzales, Texas. He was married to Noemi Vargas from Taylor, Texas for 33 years and had three children, Celeste, Joshua, and Theodor.

Valente was a self-employed business owner of Vargas Steel Erectors. He welded, did iron work, as well as many other trades and talents. He was as strong as the steel he welded, his pure strength and stamina was a force to be reckoned with, there was no job too big or small that he could not do. There was no slowing him down, the work he did for his family and countless extended family members, and friends is something that will always be remembered. His generosity was as big as the sky. His wife and kids were his pride and joy, his love for them was abundant and shined bright for everyone to see. He and his wife took in numerous families in their home over their 33 years of marriage, out of love and compassion. He was a father figure to countless individuals and a mighty friend to many. His energy was difficult to match, the joy in his voice, and his million-dollar smile would fill a room with happy hearts. He kept everyone entertained and laughing with his high-spirited conversation, jokes and silly pranks. As much as he did for others, he never needed much. The company of his family is what he lived for daily, the presence of his wife, good food, football or basketball game and a cold beer was the perfect Sunday. His love for a good song and a good tune kept him going, his dance moves and his off tune singing kept his family and friends entertained. He was the greatest father, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He took care of everyone and worked hard to take care of all of those he loved, it is now his time to rest in paradise. Valente will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
