Gonzales County’s Martin Luther King Day celebration will be held in a virtual format this year, according to the Edwards Association, which coordinates the event.
On Monday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m., the Dr. King Celebration will be shared via a livestream at www.facebook.com/edwards.high.1. The 2021 theme is “The Dream That Changed the World.”
The usual march and “Community Love Luncheon” will be held at a later date, based on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tax-deductible donations are being accepted by the association.
