Water stations for Gonzales residents

Gonzales County and city residents may fill containers— up to 20 gallons' worth per household— at the Gonzales Fire Station from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 21, according to a statement from City Manager Tim Patek.

Residents will need to supply their own containers to fill at the Fire Station at the corner of St. Paul and St. Louis Streets. It is important to note that the city of Gonzales is not on a boil water notice.

"I would like to inform all city and county residents starting on Saturday, February 20, and Sunday, February 21 from 12 p.m. noon until 5 p.m. if you are in need of residential water you can fill your water containers (20 gallons per household) at the Gonzales Fire Station (southeast corner) located at 411 St. Lawrence Street," Patek wrote in an email.

"I would also like to inform all City residents that are on City water that you are not on a boil water notice."
