Yolanda Ann Arizpe

Yolanda Ann Arizpe, 35, of Gonzales, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021. She was born Oct. 18, 1985 in Gonzales, the daughter of Trinidad and Victoria Liguez Rosales.

She was a 2004 graduate of Gonzales High School. She married Lauro Arizpe Aug. 13, 2008 in Gonzales. She was a homemaker and a member of Two Rivers Bible Church.

She was a collector of all things “Pioneer Woman.” She loved shopping and was an excellent housekeeper. Most of all she was a loving mother and devoted wife. Her family was her greatest treasure.

Yolanda is survived by her husband: Lauro Arizpe; son: Lauro Arizpe III; mother: Victoria Rosales; brother: Tito Rosales and girlfriend, Stephanie Gonzalez; all of Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her father: Trinidad Rosales.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Elizondo officiating. Interment will follow at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Hilario Liguez, John Liguez, Luis Arizpe, Rodrigo Gonzales, Joseph Martinez, Christopher Cantu, Tito Rosales, Joseph Arriola, Richard Arizpe and Armilo Arizpe.

Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, chapel service and graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend. Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
