Geneva Adele Blundell

BLUNDELL

Geneva Adele Blundell, 92, of Gonzales, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017.  Geneva was born November 18, 1924 in Gonzales County to James Arthur Smith and Theresa Dorothy Rayne Smith.  Geneva married Leslie Nile Blundell on March 25, 1944.  She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Shirley Blundell of Texas City, Glenn and Kathy Blundell of Fredericksburg and Garlan and Jane Blundell of Gonzales, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Gonzales Woodmen of the World Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Brian Blundell, Garrett Blundell, Jordan Blundell, Kaleb Chambers, Cody Chambers and Braeden Walker.  Honorary pallbearers: Mike Kuck, Roy Halamicek, Cpl. Jarrod Walker, U.S. Army Airborne, Ross Hendershot, Donnie Petru and Jene Dreyer.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the services in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202 or the Eastside Baptist Church, 701 Seydler Street, Gonzales, Texas 78629.  Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
