Gonzales second annual Dog Extravaganza to be held April 28

Gonzales Dog Adoptions invites the community to their second annual Dog Extravaganza, Sunday, April 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Episcopal Church, 721 St Louis St., Gonzales.

This event includes a dog parade, a costume/fashion contest, pup cups & treats, face painting, vendors, craft booths, food trucks and t-shirt sales, as well as other fun events for the entire family, both human and fur! There will also be Blessing of the Pets by Father Robert Certain of the church.

Donations are welcome, as well as sponsorship for this outside event, with COVID-19 guidelines in place for the safety of the community. Hosts for this event include the Gonzales Dog Adoptions/Gonzales Dog Shelter, as well as Victoria Currie.

Come one, come all, come big pets, and come small, to the dog extravaganza!
