Gonzales, Smiley National Nights Out set for Oct. 3

First responders in Gonzales County will proudly be celebrating the 40^th anniversary of National Night Out from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Edwards Association campus, 1427 Fly St., Gonzales.

Come out and meet your local first responders from Gonzales Police Department, Gonzales Fire Department, Gonzales EMS, Gonzales County Sheriff’s Department, Emergency Management and your neighbors, including many important community organizations.

There will be live music, food, games and more and everyone is welcome to this free event.

Meanwhile, the Smiley Bantam Activity Group and the Smiley Marshal’s Office and Smiley Fire Department will hold National Night Out at the Smiley Fire Department from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 3 as well.
