Herman Ray Hunt Jr.

Herman Ray Hunt Jr., was born in Gonzales on Feb. 8, 1956, the day that God blessed Mary Ella and Herman Ray Hunt, Sr. to their loving son.

Herman Ray Hunt departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016.

He attended Union Lea Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. He attended Gonzales High School. Besides Gonzales, Herman Ray, Jr. also lived in San Antonio and Seguin.

He was united in holy matrimony to Annie Ruth Grant Hunt.

Herman Ray, Jr. raised roosters on his spare time and also spent a lot of time with trooper dogs.

He worked at Tyson Foods in Seguin for seven years. Herman was everybody’s friend. He loved his family and if you met him, you loved him. He always had a beautiful smile and a laugh that you could not forget.

He loved his wife, sisters, brothers, children, family and friends with a passion.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of many years, Annie Ruth Hunt; brother, Gregory A. Hunt; sisters, Betty Jean, Dorothy Jean Ford and Reanae and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends
