Joseph Parker Allen Randolph, 21, of Cibolo, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016.  Parker as he was popularly known was born October 10, 1995 in San Antonio to Bruce Allen Randolph and Amy Jo Guiher Randolph.  Parker was a member of Northrock Church.

Parker attended Trinity High School where he played basketball, baseball and soccer.  In Trinity Middle School he played the trumpet in band, but Parker never brought it home from school as practicing his jump shot, fielding a groundball or working on his soccer moves always seemed to take precedent.  Parker graduated from Steele High School in Cibolo with the Class of 2014.  He went to work for his father in the family business, Bruce Randolph Construction Company.  Parker was a gifted builder, his talented hands and imagination could build anything from a mouse trap to a luxury home.  Certainly he had his eye on taking over his father’s business one day and with tongue in cheek, he may have entertained the prospect of a hostile takeover from time to time.  Parker was a very social young man, he loved bon fires with his friends, hanging out at Canyon Lake and playing pick-up basketball games with friends.  He loved all music and was a self-proclaimed “hip-hop” aficionado.  Most notably Parker had a quiet strength, a sweet loving heart and the spirit to not conform to the malaise of the world.  Parker lived vibrantly in faith and with steadfast convictions that touched all who knew him.  His was a world of faith, family, friends and good times. His smile was heartwarming, his laughter contagious and his hugs meshed two hearts to one. His way, was a wonderful way to live fully and abundantly in Christ Jesus.

Parker is survived by his adoring mother and father Amy Jo and Bruce Allen Randolph of Cibolo, sisters and brothers-in-law, Lauren and Cody Covington of Temple, Megan and Colin Smith of Cibolo, brother and sister-in-law, Chase and Briana Randolph of Galveston, paternal grandparents, Allen and Gayle Randolph of Cibolo, maternal grandmother, Evelyn Guiher of Mt Gilead, OH, nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Carter, and Caroline Covington and Riley Smith.  He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Virgil Guiher.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Trinity Church with Pastor Dennis Gallaher officiating.  Interment services will follow at 2 p.m. in Hill Country Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers:  Nathan Peters, Josh Dunn, Cole Horner, Aaron Guiher, McKinnley Olsen, Colin Smith, Cody Covington and Chase Randolph.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Trinity Church.  Parker had compassion and deep love for children; those that prefer donating to charity please consider honoring Parker’s life by donating to an organization that cares for and evangelizes to children in need, SA Heals at www.saheals.com under Parker’s Memorial.  Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, Texas.
