Strength and honor are her clothing; and shed shall rejoice in time to come.

She opened her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looked well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Her husband arises up, and call her blessed, and he praised her.

Lenora Jeanette Sampleton was born November 19, 1937 to the union of Reverend Willie Gus Sampleton and Lenora Ollison in Kenedy, Texas.  She transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Lenora grew up with a Christian foundation and accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized.  Later she joined Mr. Eden Missionary Baptist Church family. Lenora earned the nickname “Tittie” as a young child and it followed her throughout her life.  She was known by many as “Tittie”

Lenora received her education from Ball High School in Seguin, Texas.  She loved playing the piano and cheerleading.

She later married Bill Francis in 1957, no children were born to this union.

Lenora moved to Minneapolis and worked at the Minneapolis bank as a teller for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, sisters, and brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life; brothers, Jesse Sampleton (Carol), and Edwin Mitchell.  Her dog, Mr. Brown.  Sister-in-laws, Pinkie Sampleton, and Berniece Mitchell.  A host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other family members and many friends.
