Manuela G. Medina

Manuela G. Medina, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024. She was born October 7, 1931, in Nixon, Texas to the late Louis Garcia and Simona Valdez Garcia. 

Manuela spent her spare time gardening, sewing, and watching Novellas. She will be truly missed by many.

Manuela is survived by her sons, Daniel Medina, Jr., Johnny Medina and Thomas Medina; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Esther Moreno, Esparanza Lara, Minnie Gonzalez, Linda Solis and Lillie Centeno; numerous other relatives and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Helen Medina; sisters Louisa Trigo, Rosa Gonzalez and Victoria Trigo; brothers Augustine Garcia and Johnny Garcia.

Visitation with the family will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nixon, TX. At 1:30 pm a rosary will be recited. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm. 

Interment immediately following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
