Melody McBride

Melody McBride, 62, of Harwood, Texas, died September 23 in Harwood. Born December 20, 1953 in Pasadena, Texas to James and Gloria Anderson Cockrell. She married Dennis Archie McBride on July 5, 1996 in Houston. She was a member of the Hill Country Church of San Marcos.

She is survived by her husband, Archie McBride, son, Shane Laws, three sisters, Karen Inocencio, Nila Harryman and Nant Sammons, brother David Gulley, grandchildren Kayla, Julian, Adia, Ephrum, Makayala and Lena. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Gulley, stepfather, Nile Gulley, father James Cockrell, stepmother Lucille and son Christopher Laws.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29 at O’Bannon Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Craven officiating.
