Rankin Dee Glover

Rankin Dee Glover of Austin, Texas passed away on May 30. He was born January 16, 1943 in Goldthwaite, Texas. He was a graduate of Gonzales High School and member of First Methodist Church of Gonzales.

Rankin attended the University of Texas and received a degree in Architecture. He worked for the architectural firm of Garden Clark and Leon Chandler before establishing his own firm Architectural Designer.

Rankin also worked with real-estate development, taught drafting at a trade school, and worked with the Texas Historical Survey. He was a founding board member on the Foundation with the homeless, actor in community theatre and volunteer with the Austin symphony. Rankin was the son of the late Joseph Marion Glover and Dorris Letty Glover. He is preceded in death by older brother Edward Joe Glover formally of Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

Rankin is survived by his sister Alice Lennie Glover of Smyrna, Georgia.
