Rose Anna (Ruiz) Rubio

Rose Anna (Ruiz) Rubio, 60, passed away in her home on Aug. 20, 2018 in Gonzales. She was born May 2, 1958 in Gonzales to Jesus and Josefa (Estrada) Medina.

Rose is survived by her husband, Lauro Aranda Rubio; sons, Eddie Reyes and wife Brenda of San Antonio and Michael Medina and wife Tiffany of Gonzales; daughters, Lisa Reyes, Jessica Medina, Anjelica Ruiz, Vanessa Ruiz, and Christina Ruiz, all of Gonzales; and sisters Janie Villasana and husband Richard of Lane City, Gloria Baladez and husband Joe of Angleton, and Mary Medina and husband Andy of Victoria. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation is 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m. with funeral mass at 10 a.m. officiated by Father Mike Peinemann. Burial will take place in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
