Local non-profit organization Buck Branch Archery Club will host a fundraiser 3D archery tournament on Saturday, March 29, for Lone Star Heroes Outdoors non-profit for veterans and first responders.
The event will start at 9 a.m. at Buck Branch Archery Club, 2155 County Road 459, Waelder. There will be buckles for first place if there are three or more shooters in a class. There will also be drawings and door prizes.
This ASA style tournament will include the following classes:
• Men: Open, Bow Hunter, Extreme Bow Hunter.
• Women: Open, Bow Hunter, Extreme Bow Hunter.
• Youth Boys/Girls (12-16): Open, Bow Hunter.
All proceeds will go towards helping get veterans and first responders to participate in outdoor events. Come out and support the mission to promote the exciting sport of target archery and provide an outdoor recreational opportunity for all archers to improve their skills at a fun course and get to know the crew of Lone Star Heroes Outdoors.
The Buck Branch Archery Club, (abbreviated as BBAC), is a non-profit organization open to archers of all ages and classes. Located in northern Gonzales County BBAC has a membership dedicated to the sport of archery.
