GONZALES, Texas — The City of Gonzales joined communities across Texas this week in celebrating Texas Chamber of Commerce Week, Oct. 13–17, 2025, with a proclamation recognizing the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture for its continued commitment to supporting local business and community growth.
Mayor Isaac Anzaldua signed the proclamation at City Hall, commending the Chamber for its leadership in fostering economic vitality, promoting tourism, and enhancing Gonzales’ reputation as a great place to live, work, and visit.
“The strength of Gonzales is built upon the men and women who dedicate their talents and energy to building businesses, creating jobs, and serving their neighbors—all contributing to a thriving and prosperous local economy,” Anzaldua said. “Local chambers of commerce, including the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, play an essential role in this success. Through its leadership, advocacy, and partnership with the community, the Chamber continues to strengthen our city by promoting local commerce, supporting economic development, and enhancing quality of life for all who call Gonzales home.”
The Gonzales Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture partners with area businesses, civic organizations, and community leaders to advance economic development and tourism while hosting events that drive local commerce.
The statewide observance was established by Gov. Greg Abbott to recognize the work of chambers across Texas and their role in promoting economic growth.
