GISD Board to discuss approval of the 2020 Tax Roll

On Monday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. the GISD Board of Trustees will meet to discuss approval of the 2020 tax roll as well as action regarding a division order for EOG Resources, Inc. with the property described as the Dottie Unit.

Consisting of 602.02 acres, more or less, the Dottie Unit is located in the Joseph Dillard Survey, Abstract 117 of Gonzales County, Texas, being described in the designation of Dottie Unit Filled in Gonzales County (Volume 1140, Page 276). The board will also be receiving financial reports and addressing a letter from the county regarding a public hearing on rezoning.

Anyone who wishes to provide public comment at a GISD Board of Trustees meeting must sign up before the meeting using the form available there, and indicate what topic will be spoken on.

Comments must be kept to under five minutes, and must the board's comment policy. Comments must: 1. Pertain to the operation of the Gonzales Independent School District; 2.Refrain from using the public comment to make specific comments or complaints about employees or officers of the District; GISD has grievance policies to address specific complaints; 3.Refrain from utilizing public comment to make specific comments or complaints about specific students or student incidents; GISD has grievance policies to address specific complaints; 4.Display civility, decorum, and respect for others.
