Gonzales County will hold hearing on proposed budget

The Gonzales County Commissioners Court will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2021-22 county budget during a special called meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Courthouse, 414 St. Joseph St., Gonzales.
After the hearing, commissioners will vote on adopting the budget and setting a tax rate. County officials will also discuss distribution of unclaimed county capital credits as well as hear from Judy Langford of Langford Community Services Management about grants.
