Gonzales ISD introduces new superintendent with reception

The Gonzales Independent School District will host a reception for the new superintendent Tuesday, June 21.
Dr. Elmer Avellaneda was named the new superintendent in the Monday, June 13, school board meeting, and he’ll be there to meet with members of the community at the Gonzales High School Student Center at 1801 N. Sarah Dewitt from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
