Hollywood on hold — but still coming to Gonzales

Sandra Wolff, the Gonzales County Old Jail Museum director, reported to the Inquirer that Jon Chardiet will not be able to film April 25-27 at the museum, due to COVID-19-related restrictions impacting the production and conflicting schedules.

However, she said the filming will still reportedly take place once any conflicts are resolved. Local residents are eagerly looking forward to this project. A rescheduled shoot date has not been announced.

According to Wolff, Chardiet stated that the movie will be filmed in Gonzales if he has to “hold the camera himself.”

The Inquirer will update this story when the filming is rescheduled.
