Lady Apaches lose to Fredericksburg in Bi-District playoffs

The UIL 4A Bi-District girls basketball playoff game between Gonzales and Fredericksburg high schools has been rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12 at the Northside ISD Sports Gym, 8400 N. Loop 1604 E in San Antonio.

The game, orignally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, was rescheduled due to weather and road concerns.

Tickets on sale now. No cash at the door, online only. Once you click the link, it will take you to our ticket page. Click the “View events by school” link and click the “PLAYOFFS” option. Click the “Get Tickets” button to purchase tickets.  
Each spectator will have to fill out a health screening to show with their online ticket the day of the game. 

Game Preview

The Gonzales High School girls basketball team secured 4A District 27's final playoff berth by beating Pleasanton, 39-34, on Feb. 9.

The game was a tiebreaker as both teams ended district in fourth place at 1-7. 

Next up for the Apaches are the Fredericksburg Billies.

Fredericksburg (8-0, 23-1) is the 4A District 28 champion and the No. 3-ranked team in 4A.

The Apaches faced Fredericksburg on Dec. 15, losing 72-36. The Apaches (1-7, 11-11) struggled against the Fredericksburg full-court press and also had a terrible night shooting.
