Lady Mustangs fall to Karnes City for second time in district play

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs traveled to Karnes City for their second district match against the Lady Badgers for the 2024 season Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The Lady Mustangs dropped to 0-8 in district play in the three-set sweep loss to Karnes City (20-25, 24-26, 17-25).
The Lady Mustangs lost all three sets in close games; Nixon-Smiley dropped the second set in extra points, 26-24.
The Lady Mustangs have two more matches in the 2024 volleyball season.
Nixon-Smiley will host the Stockdale Lady Brahmas for the final home match Friday, Oct 25 and will close the season on the road against the Goliad Lady Tigers Tuesday, Oct. 29.
The Stockdale match kicks off at 5 p.m. at home.
