The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs hosted the Poth Lady Pirates for the kickoff of the second half of district Monday, Jan. 20.
The Lady Mustangs’ two game win streak was snapped by Poth in a, 57-19, loss.
Nixon-Smiley dropped to 2-4 of the season.
Poth season sweeps the Lady Mustangs for the 2024-25 basketball season.
The Lady Mustangs will hit the road Friday, Jan. 24 for a game against the Goliad Lady Tigers and will return home for a game against Stockdale Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The Goliad game tips off at 5 p.m. and the Stockdale game tips off at 6:30 p.m.
