The Education Practicum at Gonzales High School, led by instructor Saralyn Breitschopf, teamed up once again with Gonzales Elementary to support the annual Legacy Ranch Thanksgiving Day Food Drive, gathering an impressive haul for local families in need.
Students and staff at Gonzales Elementary collected more than 700 non-perishable items, all donated to Legacy Ranch to help stock its pantry ahead of the holiday. In addition, the Education Practicum collected six hams and eight packages of rolls to help provide a full Thanksgiving meal for the residents.
Breitschopf expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed, noting that the continued partnership between the campuses makes a meaningful impact each year. “Thank you to all who helped make this food drive a success,” she said.
