The Robert Lee Brothers, Jr. Memorial Library Board will meet at 12 p.m. in the library on Wednesday, April 7 to discuss and take action regarding the appointment of a board President, Vice President, and Treasurer to its body.

Another item of discussion on the agenda is a report on the status of Dr. Seuss books in the library which are no longer being published.

Six Dr. Seuss books were pulled from publication March 2 by Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the organization run by the author's relatives, citing concerns that "these books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong." The titles which have ceased publication and licensing are "And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street," “If I Ran the Zoo," "McElligot's Pool," "On Beyond Zebra," "Scrambled Eggs Super!" and "The Cat's Quizzer."
