Master Gardeners’ Lunch and Learn on May 22

Gardening in south Texas is challenging! The extremes of heat, cold, and drought make it even more difficult which is why Texas Superstar® plants, tested and selected for superior performance by Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, are a proven, reliable, and low-maintenance option worth considering in your landscape.

A lunch and learn program about Texas Superstar® plants is going to be offered and hosted by the Gonzales Master Gardeners on Thursday, May 22, from noon to 1 p.m. Several local master gardeners will provide information on the Texas Superstar® program, how plants are selected, as well as identification of the over 90 plants that hold the this designation.  The lunch and learn program will be held at the Master Gardeners’ Building, PACE: Plantatarium A Center for Exploration, located at 623 N. Fair Street, Gonzales.
