The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs hosted the Poth Pirates at home Monday, Jan. 20 for second to last game of the first half of district.
The game was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 21 but was moved earlier due to winter weather hitting across Texas.
The Mustangs fell to the Pirates, 58-26, and dropped to 1-3 in district play.
Nixon-Smiley will hit the road Friday, Jan. 24 for its final road game of the first half of district against the Goliad Tigers.
The Mustangs open up the second half of district against the Stockdale Brahmas Tuesday, Jan. 28 at home.
The Goliad game tips off at 6:15 p.m.
The Stockdale game tips off at 8 p.m.
