Mustangs fall to Ro-Hawks in final non-district game

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs concluded their non-district games on the road in San Antonio against the Randolph Ro-Hawks Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The Mustangs lost to the Ro-Hawks, 57-34, and closed out non-district a with 6-9 record.
Nixon-Smiley shifted its focus to district as they will now take on their rivals, the Stockdale Brahmas, in the district opener on the road Friday, Jan. 10.
The Mustangs will be on the road for two of the three district games against Stockdale and Karnes City.
The Mustangs will take on the Luling Eagles Tuesday, Jan. 14 for the district home opener.
All three games tip off at 8 p.m.
