Peggie Jean Schultz

Peggie Jean Schultz, age 91, died in Gonzales, Tx on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1935, in Gonzales to Ernest E. and Lillian Mills Qualls Currie. She married Herbert Fred Schultz on July 18, 1958.

Survivors include daughter Diana and husband Wayne Hill of Cuero, Tx; grandson Brandon and wife Hannah Hill of Cuero, Tx; granddaughter Ashlee and husband Josh Clayton of Cuero, Tx; great grandchildren are Jolee Clayton, Bowen Hill, Tinsley Clayton, Brett Hill, and Emmett Clayton, all of Cuero, Tx. Also surviving is her brother Emmitt and wife Marie Currie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Louise Qualls Salter, Joy Qualls Cox, brothers; Jack Qualls and Joe Qualls.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Seydler – Hill Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm officiated by Reverend Todd Craven. Interment will follow at Hermann Sons Cemetery of Gonzales. Pallbearers will include Wayne Hill, Brandon Hill, Josh Clayton, Emmitt Currie, Hugh Shelton and Jack Downs.
