The 24th annual Gonzales Project Graduation was held at Disciple Oaks Conference Center following commencement ceremonies Friday, May 23.

One hundred and three seniors and 64 guests were in attendance and competed for more than $13,000 in prizes.

Students swam, played games and sports, and enjoyed time with their friends. Two students walked away with more than $500 each as the grand prize winners.

Project graduation has become a long-standing tradition brought to Gonzales by the Pilot Club of Gonzales in 2001 and now hosted by a committee of parents, teachers, and community members, offering a fun, safe, drug and alcohol free way for students to celebrate walking the stage. Students laughed, sang along to the music, dance, swam and enjoyed a care-free night.

The Gonzales Project Graduation Committee extends heartfelt thanks to the more than 40 sponsors and countless volunteers who made the 2025 celebration possible. With continued community support, the tradition of providing a fun and safe graduation night for local seniors will continue for years to come.
