The Shiner Stars 12 year old baseball team has made headlines this summer after winning the prestigious Triple Crown World Series tournament held in Myrtle Beach. The team showcased remarkable skill and determination, finishing the tournament undefeated with a record of 7-0 and outscoring their opponents by an impressive 25 runs.

In a thrilling 2-0 championship game, pitcher Cullen Machicek delivered a standout performance, throwing a no-hitter that secured the gold medal for the Shiner Stars. His exceptional performance on the mound earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the tournament.

The Shiner Stars are a diverse group, featuring talented young athletes from across Lavaca County and beyond, including Shiner (Ayden McCord), Moulton (Nicholas Simper), Hallettsville (Cullen Machicek & Landon Chovanetz), Ganado (Jase Peters & Easton McCain), Cuero(Alonzoe Saldaña), Gonzales (Evan Jahns & Ryder Robinson), Smithville(Stryker Owens), Sweet Home (Payten McCord), and Industrial (Kolt McFarlin).
