Inquirer announces coloring contest winners

Posted

The Gonzales Inquirer held a coloring contest the past few weeks, asking children of our readers to color in holiday-themed photos. The pictures were split into two age groups, from 3-5 and 6-8 with first and second place winners rewarded.

The winner for the 3-5 group was Brinklee Marrow. Second place was Aiden Lee Reyes.

First place for the 6-8 age group was Lainey Witzkoske. Second place was Jaylyn Amber.

Congratulations to all who participated. Winners and participants need to stop by the Inquirer during officer hours, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., to pick up their prizes. Participants include Conrad Canales, Trenton Smith Jr., Gavin Jackson, Samuel Leon, Kayson Grant, Garlen Jackson, Shelby Rothbauer, Madison Rothbauer and Mason Pruett.

The winners, as well as all other artists, have their artwork reprinted on a special newsprint wrapping paper inserted in today’s edition of the Inquirer. Extra sheets of the wrapping paper will be for sale here at the office for 25 cents each until we sell out.
