Mustangs fall to Eagles in five innings

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs hosted the Luling Eagles in their fourth district match of the season Thursday, March 28.
The Mustangs fell to Luling, 17-1, in five innings and were handed their fourth district loss of the season.
The Mustangs traveled to San Antonio for a district match against Great Heart Northern Oaks to close out the first half of district Tuesday, April 2.
Nixon-Smiley will head back on the road Friday, April 5 for the second meeting with Randolph for the second half of district.
First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
