Shiner sweeps Lady Mustangs in three game series

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs and the Shiner Lady Comanches faced each other in a three game non-district series Saturday, March 9 through Tuesday, March 12.

The Lady Mustangs were swept by Shiner in three games; game one, 19-3, game two, 16-0, and game three, 16-1.

Nixon-Smiley concluded their non-district season with a 4-13 record.

The Lady Mustangs will kickoff district play on the road against the Randolph Lady Ro-Hawks Tuesday, March 19 and enter district as the two time defending District 26-3A champions.
