The Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings are out. Gonzales ISD was rated a B as a school district, an improvement from last year’s F. What are your thoughts on the rating?

A. Gonzales ISD’s improvement shows that change can be made. I’m proud of the staff for getting this far and I’m excited for the school’s future.
B. getting this far and I’m excited for the school’s future. The B is fine, but I think Gonzales ISD is still far away from becoming a school district we all can be proud of. We need more progress.
C. I think the A-F rating is flawed, so I don’t put much weight into letter grades given by the state.
D. The accountability ratings are so confusing. I don’t really know what to think about Gonzales ISD’s B.
