Lady Apaches named to All-District volleyball squads

The Gonzales Lady Apaches varsity volleyball team capped off their 2024 season with All-District honors.

Juniors Aubrey Lindemann and Isabella Ikard were named first-team All-District for District 28-4A; Ikard lead the team with 110 kills and 22 blocks for the 2024 season; Lindemann finished second with 59 kills and 120 assists.

Sophomores Shakayden Clack and Blakely Mercer were named second team All-District; Mercer led the team with 97 digs and finished second in aces with 19, and Clack lead the team with 135 assists.

Freshman Parker Petras, sophomore Gabriella Torres and junior Alaina Valle were named All-District honorable mentions.

Academic All-District: Lyndie Blackwell, Clack, Jordyn Gonzales, Ikard, Dixie Lester, Lindemann, Mercer, Petras, Torres and Valle.
