Texas Gas Service offers energy assistance

Texas Gas Service is offering assistance to pay home heating bills for senior citizens, disabled individuals and those experiencing financial hardship.

Those who may be experiencing difficulty paying their energy bill, some for the first time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and loss of income, may contact Catholic Charities of Central Texas by calling 833-853-2257 or emailing financialstabilitygas@ccctx.org.

This program is part of the “Share the Warmth” initiative, a partnership between the TGS and local community agencies that assists people who may not be able to cover their own heating expenses. Applicants do not have to be Texas Gas Service customers.

For those who do not need assistance but would like to contribute to the ONE Gas Foundation, which funds the initiative, donations may be made at www.TexasGasService.com, or by adding an additional amount to a natural gas bill and checking “Share the Warmth” on the payment coupon.
