Bi-district finalists selected to all-district teams

GONZALES — District 27-4A released their all-district teams, with multiple Lady Apaches making the list after their 3-5 record this past season.

Gonzales had two first-team players, six second-team players and an honorable mention on the list.

Making it on the first team was Jaycie Burton as an outfield. Karina Vara was also listed as a first-team all-district player as an infielder.

Named to the second-team all-district were outfield Haley Garza, catcher Skylea Tatsch, pitcher Carla Torres and infielders Morgan Mason, Kendra Williams and Sheridan Tate. Jiseala “Chella” Longoria was honorably mentioned.

The Lady Apaches came out of District 27-4A in fourth place behind Wimberley (7-1), La Vernia (6-2) and Navarro (3-5).
