David Ornelas Esqueda

David Ornelas Esqueda, 64, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016.

David was born in Jerez Zacatecas, Mexico to Thomas Esqueda and Ruperta Ornelas on May 25, 1952. He worked for Remschel Brothers lumber company then Gonzales Lumber, and also worked as a self-employed carpenter for extra money to raise his three children.

He received numbers of recognized awards and his name by his hands. He enjoyed working with many houses, companies, and more. He also enjoyed meeting people. He has a huge golden heart. He was the gift of handyman and now his hardworking hands to rest; He only takes the best!

David is survived by his wife, Mirithala Esqueda; brothers and sisters, Ines, Pablo, Isaias, Isabel, Ruth, Tomas, other eight weren't make it, Ofelia, Leonides, Jonathan, Manuel, Tomas, Hugo Alberto, Neftali; two sons and one daughter, Michael Esqueda and his wife Cloris, Lydia Bradley and her husband Chris, and Tony Esqueda and his wife Jessica; 15 grandchildren, Bianca, Brittney, Bethany, Joanne, Annabella, Michael Jr., Danie, Drew, Jewel, Trinity, Trey, Kaydeence, Chloe, Amiyah and David.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Sacred Heart Church, 426 St. John Street in Gonzales.
