Mustangs fall to Northern Oaks

The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs traveled to San Antonio for district match against the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins Tuesday, April 2.

The Mustangs fell to Northern Oaks, 13-3, in six innings for their fifth district loss in a row.

Northern Oaks got base 15 times from hits and held the Mustangs to only three runs and six hits on base.

Nixon-Smiley dropped to 0-5 in District 26-3A.

The Mustangs hit back on the road for the second half of district play against Randolph Friday, April 5.

First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
