All-inclusive playscape placement approved

Final preparations are being made to make the dream of a new, all inclusive, playscape for children become a reality!

Payton Newton, playground specialist, met with members of the Gonzales Noon Lions Playscape Committee, Gonzales Noon Lions Club Foundation, and the City of Gonzales employees to confirm the final details. 

The placement location has been approved, lighting is being evaluated, and the factory has been authorized to begin production of the playscape features. The “Old Playscape” will be removed in the next 8-10 weeks.  Plans anticipate the new project will be finished this fall.

The community continues to support this project through generous donations.  In addition to community donations, this project is made possible through the cooperation of Lions Clubs International Foundation, a major contributor.
