The annual Knights of Columbus Wild Game Supper will be held at the K of C Hall in Hallettsville from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
This is a fun night everyone waits for all year and it could be your lucky night to win a new four-wheeler with 12-foot trailer or one of 101 new guns in the annual gun drawing. More than $50,000 in prizes are up for grabs in the drawings.
Tickets for the drawings are available at Hoffers Drive-in Grocery, Rainosek’s True Value and at the K of C Hall. There will be a $13 hall admission and supper is free. Doors open at 5 p.m.
There will be an abundance of expertly prepared shrimp, deer, hog, dove, duck, wild rice, duck gumbo, Lavaca County Sausage and wild pinto beans — all marinated and prepared by head cook Brother Robert (Bub) Henke, Too Tall Bludau, Marty Bludau, Leonard Ebner and the rest of the prestigious Lavaca County wild game chefs.
See the results of this year’s Big Buck Contest or get into a game of dominoes or just visit with folks. There will be commercial display booths and vendors as well.
There are plenty of full camper hook ups available. Just call 361-798-2311.
