Apaches roll pass Minutemen

The Gonzales Apaches hosted the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen Friday, Jan. 24 to close out the first half of district play.

The Apaches secured their second district win of the season in the, 67-39, win over Memorial.

The Apaches can clinch a playoff berth for the first time since the 2021-22 basketball season with the following scenarios; if they beat Memorial or San Antonio JFK the Apaches are in the playoffs and if they season sweep both San Antonio schools, they’ll secure third place.

The Apaches opened up the second half of district against the La Vernia Bears Tuesday, Jan. 28.

The Apaches will hit back on the road Friday, Jan. 31 for a game against the Cuero Gobblers.
