Bobbye Roberta Smith

Bobbye Roberta Smith, 99, passed away peacefully in Gonzales, Texas. Bobbye was born on Nov. 3, 1921 in Smiley, Texas to Robert G. Bishop and Myrtle (Perkins) Bishop who precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Smith; brothers, Albert “Abb” Bishop and Gene Bishop. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Bishop; step-nieces, Susan Simper (Jeffrey) and Brenda DeLaurie (Brian); step-nephews, Richard Malatek (Cindy), Glenn Malatek, and Steven Malatek; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew. Bobbye loved playing Bingo and traveling with her friends from the nursing home. She also enjoyed different forms of arts and crafts and coloring.
