Rosalinda Ramos

Rosalinda Ramos, 75, of Gonzales, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.  She was born January  6, 1949 in Gonzales, the daughter of Refugio and Paulita Cardenas Flores.  She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughters Lori Ortiz and husband Julio and Norma Cervantes and husband George all of Gonzales; son Chris Ramos and fiancée Megan Ivey of Gonzales; sisters Rosalva Flores of San Marcos and Rita Flores of Round Rock; brothers Ralph Flores of Austin, Richard Flores of Martindale and Refugio Flores, Jr. of Gonzales. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joaquin Almaguer, brother Ray Flores, Sr., sister Rebecca Flores and grandson Manuel Govea.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m.  The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Jason Martini officiating.  Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
