Come and Take It Parade entries being accepted

Entries are now being accepted for the annual Come and Take It Parade, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. Judging will be held promptly at 9 a.m. and awards will be presented to the winners as they pass the starting point of the parade.

Participants may enter free through Aug. 9. From Aug. 12-23, entries will be $10 each. From Aug. 26 through Sept. 6, entries are $30 each. From Sept. 9 through Sept. 20, entries are $50 each, while from Sept. 23 through Sept. 27, entries are $100 each. There will be no entries accepted after Sept. 27 with no exceptions.

Entries must be submitted to the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, 304 St. Louis St., Gonzales.
