Community Health Centers of South Central Texas hosted law enforcement and first responders at their administration offices on Church Street on Friday, May 16.
Food, snacks, games, lemonade, and, of course, lots of cookies were served. They had a bit of trivia and gave away a few movie gift cards, compliments of the Lynn Theater. The room was filled with Gonzales Police Department officers, Gonzales County Sheriff’s Department deputies, Department of Public Safety troopers and officers from other departments. Charlie Patterson, president of the board of directors for CHCSCT, spoke to the group of heroes and thanked them for their service.
Gonzales Mayor Issac Anzaldua joined in on the heartfelt event and thanked them for their hard work and dedication to keeping our community safe. He spoke of his gratitude for their service and their commitment. Special guest included David Tucy, president of the Edwards Association, who also gave his thanks to the first responders and law enforcement officers present.
